Add to Personal Bookmarks Number of Clinical Science 1 gives the student an understanding of the basic principles of physics as applied in physical therapy. It will consist of an intensive introduction to functional anatomy and kinesiology, including palpation skills. Students will also gain knowledge and understanding of the physical and physiological principles which govern the therapeutic application and the physiological effects of massage. To successfully fulfill the course purpose, this course will also include basic clinical skills and assessments required in the field of physical therapy for the well-being and comfort of the patient. Additional $150 fee required. Two hours lecture each week. Eight hours laboratory each week. Six Credits. Six billable hours.
