MUSC 1035 - Aural Theory I MUSC 1035 - Aural Theory I (2LB) [E] Instruction in how to hear (dictate) and read (sight-sing) music fluently. Includes simple and compound meters; basic rhythms (beats and first division of the beat); and diatonic melodies in major and minor featuring stepwise motion and skips within the tonic and dominant triads. This course is designed to be taken with MUSC 1030; MUSC 1010 may also be required as a Required for all music majors.
