ART 174 - Community Mural Painting, Experimental ART 174 - Community Mural Painting, Experimental 5 Studio Hours Description This course examines both the practice and theory of community mural painting. Students are involved in all phases of a large-scale community mural project at a location to be determined. The course includes readings, discussions and individual projects that develop students’ knowledge of art and their ability to apply that knowledge in a range of artistic endeavors. Successful completion of the course will result in the further development of creative, verbal, and collaborative skills that will transfer to any non-art profession in addition to bolstering potential careers in the arts.
