DMS 224C - Ultrasound Clinical 3/Cardiac DMS 224C - Ultrasound Clinical 3/Cardiac 360 Practicum Hours The student will share with the clinical instructor responsibilities for scheduling, identifying, and preparing the patient for examination. The student will assure that patient preparation is properly followed for the given examination. Skills in scanning that have been developed in previous lecture/lab and clinical courses will be utilized. Progression of the examination will be performed by the student under direct supervision of the clinical instructor. Competencies in advanced echocardiographic techniques will be developed. Skill and confidence in presenting the echocardiographic examination to the interpreting physician will be developed. This course requires a per credit health career fee; check the tuition and fee schedule for the current rate. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis. Learning
