DCOM 258 - Introduction to Information Security DCOM 258 - Introduction to Information Security 3 Credit(s). Provides the knowledge and skills required to assess the overall state of the security of an enterprise environment and recommend and implement appropriate security solutions. Students learn to monitor and secure physical and virtual environments and respond to security incidents while operating with an awareness of applicable security-based laws and policies. This course prepares students for the Computing Technology Industry Association’s (Comp TIA) Security+ certification. Course every fall, spring and may be during additional sessions.
