Introduces the students to a study of professional ethics and dental jurisprudence, professional organizations, and issues involving the dental hygiene profession. Students learn the laws and rules governing the practice of dental hygiene in the state of Maryland. Practice management skills and employment preparation including resumes and interview techniques are reviewed. Course once a year (fall or spring).
