INTR 228 - Interactive Interpreting INTR 228 - Interactive Interpreting 4 Credit(s). Provides practice in the development of dialogic interpreting skills using rehearsed and spontaneous discourse in American Sign Language (ASL) and English. Students examine interpreting techniques for a variety of situations such as video relay calls, case histories, social events, informal meetings and interviews. Students develop strategies for facilitating communication while preserving the natural flow of conversation. Course once a year (fall or spring). Prerequisite(s): INTR 220 with a grade of “B” or higher Common Course Outline: INTR 228 CCO
