MUSC 101 - Music Fundamentals MUSC 101 - Music Fundamentals 3 Credit(s). Explores how music is conceived and communicated and introduces reading music. Primary concepts of note reading, rhythm, scales, key signatures, intervals, and chords are studied, along with the basics of hard-copy and electronic notation. Students are required to attend at least one live concert during the course. Course every fall, spring and may be during additional sessions.
