PHYS 251 - General Physics II PHYS 251 - General Physics II 4 Credit(s). Introduces students to electricity, magnetism, and thermodynamics. It builds on PHYS 151 as the second course in a three-semester set of calculus-based courses in the basic principles of physics for students majoring in Engineering, Mathematics, or a physical science. The course requires knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, and calculus.
