VOC 953 - Comfort Cooling Systems VOC 953 - Comfort Cooling Systems 5.5 Continuing Education Units (CEU). This course is not for Credit(s). This course is designed to enable the student to learn the technical skills to operate a mechanical refrigeration system and to learn its purpose, function, components, and conditions. The student will learn how to install and service various types of cooling equipment used for either personal comfort, food preservation, or industrial processes. Topics to be covered include cooling systems, refrigeration systems, refrigeration cycle, supervision using temperature and pressure measuring instruments, components of a cooling system, major accessories for cooling systems and the operation of those systems, and piping of a refrigeration system.
