COMI 1300 — - Introduction to Data Analytics
This course introduces students to the concepts and procedures in Data Analytics with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning. Through guided labs using a learn-by-example approach, students will collect, cleanse, manipulate, and analyze data while creating reports and visualizations. Industry-standard tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau are used for statistical analysis and visualization. A Windows-based computer is required, as the software tools used are not supported on other platforms.
