MUSC 2512 — - Applied Music Piano-Secondary
Private music instruction on a second instrument or in voice for music majors, or private music instruction for non-majors wishing to study an instrument or voice for credit. Instruction is offered in classical music or jazz (one half-hour lesson per week) for students with basic proficiency in playing an instrument or singing. Elementary ability to read music is necessary. All students are required to perform in a student recital at least once per semester. Admission is by audition only, with a fee for private instruction due at the beginning of the semester and the balance of the instructor’s fee to be paid directly to the private teacher.
