PHTA 2920 — - Clinical Education II^

This course is the second of three full time clinical experiences in the PTA program, and runs for the last six weeks of the fall semester. Students are assigned to clinical sites for 35-40 hours per week of supervised clinical practice. Students will have the opportunity to grow more independent in performing physical therapy treatment under the supervision and guidance of Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants. Participation in ancillary components of Physical Therapy practice will foster the development of a responsible professional identity. Students will participate in an online seminar in which relevant clinical issues will be discussed. Other: 40 hours Prerequisite(s): PHTA 2010 and RHAB 1030
