ART231 — Portrait Drawing

Semester all Only Portrait Drawing is an introductory class exploring basic mechanical and expressive components of portraiture. Emphasis is on solid structure and disciplined characterization. Instruction deals with form and structure in the first half of the course, and expression and characterization in the second half. Previous drawing experience is highly recommended before enrolling in this course.
