BIO222 — Genetics
Semester Every Other Spring - Odd Genetics focuses on the areas of transmission, molecular, individual and population genetics. The following topics are emphasized: inheritance patterns; gene expression; gene regulation; biotechnology; genetic basis of disease; developmental genetics; and population genetics. This course provides a foundation for students pursuing advanced studies in biology, molecular biology or biochemistry, biotechnology, and health sciences Prerequisite(s): BIO 130 and BIO 131 or BIO 101 and BIO 111 Corequisite(s): BIO 232
