BIP201 — Introduction to Bioprocessing (SL)

Semester Every Other Fall - Even Introduction to Bioprocessing (SL) introduces the techniques and processes necessary for the production of biological products. Biomanufacturing practices, including both upstream and downstream processing, will be discussed with hands-on application of these concepts. Students will grow bacterial and/or mammalian cells in culture in order to produce purified products in compliance with biomanufacturing industry standards. Prerequisite(s): BIP 102
