HCS152 — Soil Science
Semester Every other Spring - Even Soils and Fertilizers will provide the student with an understanding of the composition, fertility, and biology of soil. This course will include structure and classification of soils, soil biology, plant nutrients, and soil amendments. Reduction of excess nutrients in streams, rivers, and the Chesapeake Bay will be emphasized.
