MAT191 — Precalculus (M)
Precalculus (M) prepares the student for the study of calculus, discrete mathematics, and other mathematics intensive disciplines through the study of algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Topics include functions, laws of logarithms, trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities, solutions of trigonometric equations, and the Laws of Sines and Cosines. A problem-solving approach utilizes applications and a graphing calculator throughout the course. Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in MAT 093 or MAT 098 , EGL 093
