Semester all and Spring Music Appreciation is a survey of the development of music from ancient civilizations to the present day. Emphasis is placed on major genres, composers, and repertoire from the Middle Ages through the Contemporary eras. Listening skills and music terminology are discussed. No music reading skills necessary.
