NUR101 — Concepts and Processes in Nursing

Semester all Only Concepts and Processes in Nursing introduces the student to the profession of nursing, the Neuman Systems Model (NSM), nursing as a discipline, nursing concepts, and the nursing process. Special emphasis is on utilizing the Neuman Systems Model and the nursing process in planning nursing care of elderly clients. Prerequisite(s): BIO 208 , BIO 218 , EGL 101 , MAT 093 or MAT 097 Corequisite(s): NUR 104 , NUR 114
