ACC 248 — Payroll Accounting
(3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hrs. Lecture) *1 5 wks. This course is designed to introduce students to the concepts and processes of payroll administration. Topics include the legal issues surrounding payroll, salaries/wages and overtime, payroll withholdings and payroll taxes, and journalizing and analyzing payroll transactions. Students will also learn extensively about national automated payroll system providers.
