BIO 222 — Genetics Lecture
(3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Clinical) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hrs. Lecture) *1 5 wks. This introductory course is designed to explore the fundamental concepts of genetics. The first part of the course focuses on the basic principles of classical (Mendelian) genetics; including the nature of hereditary factors and the mechanisms by which they are transmitted and expressed. The latter part of the course covers modern discoveries and techniques that have a foundation in molecular biology. BIO 1 31/1 32 with a grade of C or higher.
