Students will explore the types of work best suited for remote work, the challenges and benefits of working remotely, and reasons for long-standing resistance by employers to allow remote work. BUS 21 5 Principles of Marketing 3 Credits (3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hrs. Lecture) *1 5 wks. The course begins by dissecting the elements of the marketing mix - product, price, promotion and place and ends with the completion of a marketing plan for a product chosen by each student. Topics include segmentation, distribution, consumer behavior, etc. Different aspects of marketing-product vs. service, wholesale vs. retail, direct and industrial marketing, will also be explored.
