CAD 201 — Building Information Modeling I
(1 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hr. Lecture 0 Hrs. Lab) *1 5 wks. This is an intermediate based CAD design course introducing students to BIM 3D Modeling. The course will go over the BIM Modeling and its uses within the office environment. This is a hands-on approach with all topics being directly applied in the CAD lab, so as to align CAD software use with technique to create a variety of related drawings, renderings, and 3D models and related schedules. Students must earn a grade of C or higher in all ACE core courses in order to meet the degree requirements of the ACE program.
