CPT 249 — Esports Industry Trends
(3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hrs. Lecture) *1 5 wks. TThis course examines popular culture both inside and outside of the competitive gaming industry. Students will gain an understanding of how trends evolve and transform within the entertainment industry. Students will learn how to apply this knowledge in order to anticipate market changes and develop games for targeted audiences. A focus will be placed on discussing new and evolving technologies as well as current events in the entertainment industry.
