CPT 288 — Incident Handling and Response
(3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hrs. Lecture) *1 5 wks. Students gain experience in the art of utilizing industry standards to identify and respond to security breaches. Students will look at the planning process as well as the implementation of plans in the areas of Business Continuity. These plans would include sub-plans in incident response, disaster recovers, contingency planning. Within the plans students focus on threats, team members, backups, facility options, testing as well as maintaining the plans and policies.
