ECE 205 — Education of Children with Special Needs

This course explores the meaning and practices 162 www.cmcc.edu 2026 • 2027 of inclusive early childhood programs, as well as the history of legislation and regulations that have had an impact on early intervention. The student will learn the process of observing and referring children to community agencies, working in conjunction with parents; to design appropriate learning environments, create curriculum with children, and evaluate children’s development.
