EDU 282 — Adverse Early Childhood Experiences and Resilience
(3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hrs. Lecture) *1 5 wks. This course will examine the research related to Adverse Childhood Experiences and how these experiences can negatively impact health and well-being across the lifespan. Students will learn strategies to support resilience for both students and teachers in the classroom setting, Prek-1 2. Students will reflect on this information in order to help them understand themselves, their students and the families they work with in school settings.
