GRC 205 — Digital Imaging and Promotional Products

(3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hrs. Lecture) *1 5 wks. In this course students will learn to create and prepare files for a variety of digital output devices. Students will design files to print directly onto surfaces of irregularly shaped items, using a flatbed UV printer. The laser engraver will be used to personalize wood and leather products. Other forms of media such as; plastic, metal, polyester, and ceramic will be decorated using the dye sublimation process. Other forms of garment decoration will include vinyl heat transfers and ChromaBlast print techniques.
