HIS 201 — Maine History
(3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hrs. Lecture) *1 5 wks. This course will explore the social, political, and economic development of Maine from the time of settlement to the present. Discussion of early European and Native American influences on the political, social, and economic activities will provide a framework for discussion of contemporary fishing, hunting, lumbering, and tourist industries.
