HUS 205 — Crisis Intervention
(3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) *1 5 wks. 3 hrs/week (3 hrs. Lecture) 1 5 weeks This course is an introduction to crisis theory and crisis intervention strategies. Students will explore various techniques, assessments, treatment modalities, and practical applications for crisis situations. Additional emphasis will be placed de-escalation techniques and working effectively in traumatic situations with diverse populations.
