INT 216 — Furnishings and Textiles
(1 Lecture, 3 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (1 Hr. Lecture, 2 Hrs. Lab)*1 5 wks Students will study the selection, use and care of textile fabrics. All fibers, natural and synthetic, will be dealt with. The most recent technology in construction, finishes and color application will be emphasized. Sustainable material choices will be discussed. Students will also research different styles of furnishings and their application within the built environment.
