PHF 299 — Practicum
(2 Lecture 2 field experience) 1 2 hrs week (2 hr lecture 10 hrs field experience) *1 5 wks. Building upon experiences gained from PHF 1 97 Field Experience, the student continues assisting in the leadership of on and/or off campus programs, with emphasis on personal training experiences, group exercise instruction, and athletic training. The focus of this practicum will be to identify the specific career path from the student's individualized plan which they will shadow for their work experience. Students will be supervised, met with individually and as a group throughout the semester preparing the student for the job market or continued education. all with grades C or higher.
