SOC 220 — Sociology of the Family
(3 Lecture 0 Lab 0 Shop) 3 Hrs./Wk. (3 Hrs. Lecture) *1 5 wks. This course will examine traditional and current trends in families. The dynamics of social interactions within the family will be presented. The diversity of the modern family will be discussed. Further examination of how this diversity of families affects other social institutions, such as the economy (via business and workplaces) and education (via schools and other community agencies).
