Emphasizing communicative language learning, the course focuses on developing novice-level proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Instruction is conducted primarily in Spanish, and students use Spanish actively in every class session to communicate about familiar topics and everyday situations. This course is designed for students with no prior knowledge of Spanish.
