11 0 www.cmcc.edu 2026 • 2027 Metal Fabrication (MEF) Program Description The Associate in Applied Science Degree in Metal Fabrication will provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge for a career in the field of metal fabrication and welding. The program focuses on practical, hands-on training that prepares individuals for employment in various industries where metalworking is essential. This program will join the disparate methods of metal working into a comprehensive and cohesive body of knowledge that eliminates task-specific training and produce a highly versatile and interdisciplinary skilled craftperson.
