12 6 www.cmcc.edu 2026 • 2027 Pre-Engineering (PRE) Program Description The Associate in Science in Pre-Engineering program will provide students with a strong foundational education in mathematics, science, and engineering principles, enabling a smooth transition into four-year bachelor’s degree programs in various engineering disciplines, such as civil, chemical, electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering. Program Educational Outcomes Upon completion the graduate is prepared to: 1. Analyze engineering problems and develop viable solutions using appropriate methods.
