ARBC 1110 - Arabic I ARBC 1110 - Arabic I 4 credit hour(s) Pre- or Following this class, students will be able to perform in specific situations at the Novice level on the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) proficiency scale. All five modes of communication are addressed (interpersonal, presentational speaking, presentational writing, interpretive reading, and interpretive listening). Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and an Arabic dialect are taught using an integrated approach. Students will also develop their understanding of Arabic-speaking cultures. Note(s): Previously ARBC 1101.
