DAST 1110 - Dental Science I DAST 1110 - Dental Science I 3 credit hour(s) The focus will be on the history of dentistry, ethics and code of conduct in dentistry, prevention, anatomical basics of the head and neck, and anatomy and physiology of body systems as they relate to dentistry. The laboratory component includes an in-person observation of dental procedures. Students will receive basic training in HIPAA and Bloodborne Pathogens. Note(s): Previously DA 1010. Read more.
