LEA 1009 - Physical Training for Law Enforcement LEA 1009 - Physical Training for Law Enforcement 2 credit hour(s) The goal of the course is for students to meet or exceed the physical fitness standards established by the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy Board required for the successful completion of a law enforcement academy. Students will also learn about injury prevention, basic nutrition, recognizing and overcome job-related stress, recognizing indicators leading to police officer suicide, and techniques for improving emotional well-being.
