LEA 1014 - Constitutional Policing for Law Enforcement LEA 1014 - Constitutional Policing for Law Enforcement 3 credit hour(s) Students will examine the constitutional laws and principles related to the investigation of crimes, including authority and jurisdiction, search and seizure, arrests, confessions, and pretrial processing of offenders. Students will learn about the individual rights found in the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution and the comparable provisions of the New Mexico Constitution.
