ECV 6005 — Basic Skills Program Integrate
This course provides support for students studying cultural difference in healthcare and communicating in a healthcare setting while integrating reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, and civics education. Topics include transcultural healthcare practices, translating medical information, and best communication practices in a the healthcare industry. Upon completion, students should be able to identify and respond to cultural differences related to healthcare and communicate effectively in a healthcare setting.
