AUTO 1510 — Engine Systems Fundamentals
This is an introductory course emphasizing the operational principles of basic engine systems and overhaul of the automotive engine. Emphasis is placed on proper use of precision measuring instruments and rebuilding tools, ability to locate and interpret engine specifications, engine diagnosis, and correct repair procedures. The student will learn written communication with service writers and customers through proper repair order write ups. Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in . (2 lect., 4 lab)
