AUTO 1765 — Automotive Electrical Systems
The student will learn the fundamentals of electricity and magnetism, basic DC circuits used in automotive electrical systems, use of meters, wiring diagrams, automotive wiring repair, and the location and interpretation of specifications. Emphasis is placed on theory, operation, diagnosis and repair of starting and charging systems. The student will learn written communication with service writers and customers through proper repair order write ups. Prerequisite: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in . (2 lect., 4 lab)
