EDEC 2435 — Child Development Associate Preparation

This course is designed for the student seeking the Child Development Associate Credential (CDA). This course focuses on the CDA competency goals and the acquisition of practical skills needed to prepare the student to be credentialed as entry-level early childhood education professionals. The student will have the opportunity to complete required course work, prepare a CDA Professional Resource File prior to national examination, and complete required hours in the field. Prerequisites: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in and , or documentation of equivalent 120 hours of formal training with current employment in a childcare/preschool setting. (2 lect.)
