HUMN 2380 — Popular Culture
This course is a study of film, music, print and broadcast media, and other forms of popular cultural expression. The course emphasizes popular arts of the last two centuries, especially in the United States. Students will discuss the distinctions between popular and elite arts and explore rationales and critical bases for the study of popular culture. Prerequisites: . (3 lect.)
