MATH 1500 — Applied Math
This course emphasizes practical, skill-based mathematical applications tailored to specific career and technical industries. The student will engage with real-world problems relevant to their field of study by applying mathematical concepts to develop effective solutions. Key topics include whole numbers, fractions, decimals, positive and negative numbers, exponents, algebra, equations, and formulas. Calculators or other industry-specific tools will be utilized to enhance problem-solving skills. Prerequisite: Test into or higher (3 lect.) APPM
