MEDA 1525 — Clinical Role of the Medical Assistant II
A continuation of , this course provides the student with more advanced theoretical concepts and skills associated with the clinical role of a medical assistant. Emphasis is on respiratory testing, electrocardiography procedures, assisting with minor surgical procedures, and sterile technique. Other topics include patient education and health promotion.
