NRST 1550 — Certified Nursing Assistant II
This course provides the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) an opportunity to prepare for practice in an expanded role in selected healthcare settings. The student will explore the rationale for skill procedures within the role of a CNA II, and will demonstrate those skills in the classroom and laboratory setting. On successful completion of the course, the student is eligible for certification as a CNA II. Eligibility criteria set forth by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing includes current, unencumbered Wyoming nursing assistant certification and documentation of 1500 work hours as a CNA.
