PHYS 1110 — General Physics I

This course is the first course in a two-semester sequence which provides an introduction to college physics without calculus. It is primarily designed for pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-optometry, pre-physical therapy, and other students requiring an insight into the physical world. Topics covered include Newtonian mechanics, thermodynamics and wave phenomena. Prerequisites: completion of or concurrent enrollment in or higher. (3 lect., 3 lab) LSCI
